Fabulous!

We had a blast while we were at Powell this summer! We had a fantastic beach, at first I didn't think so, but as the week went by, the water rose 4 ft!!! We were at the very end of Lake Canyon, just under the Indian ruins. As you can see from the photos above, everyone had a fabulous time. We love the Star Gazer!

Reminder-Are you going down for your week?

Remember to touch base with the person going down in front of you, let them know if you are coming down and when you plan to arrive; you can coordinate departures and what to leave running when you know. They also know to contact you if they find out something you should bring. Thanks for the teamwork.

Ice Maker

There is some concern about the water usage of the Ice Maker. Although I have found it uses a fair amount of water, I was able to leave it running once I defrosted the grid and got it running on a consistant cycle. If you feel the ice maker is not making (enough) ice for the water it is using, turn it off, leave the door open and let it defrost the ice making plate and grid for several hours, then turn back on and close the door. It does cycle the fresh water pump while making ice. Please report your findings, I am trying to determine if there is a problem or not.
